Apex Legends Global Series Championshipとは？
「Apex Legends Global Series」は、３人1組のチームバトル形式バトルロイヤルシューティングゲーム「Apex Legends」の世界最高峰を決めるeスポーツ大会である。
元は各リージョン（North America、EMEA、APAC North、APAC South、South America)を勝ち抜いたチームが世界大会で戦う、といった形式だったが、COVID-19の影響により世界大会は中止。各地域ごとでのチャンピオンシップ開催となった。
5/22.23.29.30日の4日間にかけて、6/6に行われる「Apex Legends Global Series Championship Grand Finals」出場の切符をかけ戦う。
なお、今回の「Apex Legends Global Series Championship」では、2021年１月～３月に行われた「Winter Circuit Playoffs」の上位10チームと、累計ALGSポイントの上位16チーム、2021年4月に行われた「Apex Legends Global Series Championship LCQ」の勝者4チームを合わせた計30チームが出場することとなる。
